BOUCHARD BAGS GOLD
Cole Bouchard of Yellowknife captured the Senior Boys gold medal at the Youth Bowling Council national championships in Hull, Quebec with a last match victory. Bouchard led the field all day until the second last match when the Yukon bowler won his game and Cole lost dropping him into second place. Cole's final game win coupled with the Yukon bowler's loss catapulted him back into the gold medal position. Does anyone know where the term "turkey" for three strikes came from? If you know please send an e-mail and I'll post the answer here. Harvey Waye
provided the answer all the way from a ship somewhere in the middle
east. Harvey writes, "According to the American Bowling Congress the
term "turkey" dates back to before the turn of the 20th century. In those
